Welcome

Welcome to my pages. I’m a community choir leader, musician and workshop leader.  As a community choir leader I’m a member of the Natural Voice Practitioners’ Network and subscribe to their philosophy. I’m a composer and arranger for community choir. I play whistles, bagpipes and flute, and play occasional gigs with Martin Gill (mandola, mandolin, guitar and vocals). We draw on English, Irish, Breton and other folk songs with plenty of harmonies and a good mix of dance tunes. I run music and other workshops for adults with learning disabilities in a variety of settings. I’m based in Lyme Regis, and work in and around Somerset, East Devon and Dorset.

Worried Man Blues

I have put parts and lyrics on the blog. Basses – you may notice that I have changed your ending (the end of the whole piece, that is). I think this is an improvement. Those of us going to the Dorset Community Choirs Festival – this is the piece we’ll be doing.
